I suppose St. Peter could say that Twilight was particularly after Buffy, but that still begs the question of why Faith and Andrew's groups were being hunted or why Buffy didn't insist that her girls get as far away from her as possible. Lots I love about Joss, but his being cavalier about plot points is starting to be a real problem for me. Which brings me to DH.
I like the idea of escaping oneself. Can you deliberately build yourself as a lie? We all do it through self-deception. So this is interesting. The problem is that the premise seems to me to be built on a rather large plot hole. November was mourning her kid, blinks out for x years, is restored, which is like waking up the moment she first went to sleep -- but somehow the kid is no longer mourned for. How? Time is not supposed to have elapsed for her. Same question for Sierra here. If she's going to be wiped of the memory when she gets restored down the road, why not restore her now sans pesky memory? If she needs a safe haven, hire her as an employee in the DH. This is a woman who both Topher and Adelle view as a pure rape victim, and yet they are perpetuating the rape -- and this time without corporate pressure. It kicks me out of the episode. Though I suppose it's not unlike the non-staking of Spike in season 4. But at least there I can wank it to something that I can live with -- here not so much.
