That was great. Its not a pairng I'd ever really thought of, but it certainly makes sense as they're alike in the sense that they're both assended humans in some capacity. Willow's a former nerd verging on divinity by the climax of S7, and certainly in S8, where she's transversing dimensions just like that. (I know, I know, S8: where to start with the wrong. Urgh.) So it makes absolute sense that she'd be compatable with a God tethered to a fragile grasp of humanity due to her host, and her time with Angel Inc. You spotted that potential, and boy, did you make it work.

Again, I like the little homespun references to Fred's childhood. Very touching.
