I love this! The mirroring of the Chosen one with being a slayer was great, and I giggled at how, when the Queen first successfully resisted being thrown in the gorge, the Elders quickly figured out how to co-opt her actions to maintain stability and their own power (though it was weakened slightly). And that Dawn was the one to find her! Of course she did. Heh, now I'm super curious how the Council or Powers That Be or whoever it was arranged for the Slayer succession when the Queen didn't die. :)
