Yeah. As good as this show is, I'm not sure we need even more stories asking us to have compassion for ultra-rich villains as a matter of course. I've had thoughts about it before (see here and here for instance), but to me it boils down to this: it's easy for the story to shift from one about redemption to one that glorifies villainy and calls it redemption. Given the current climate, I think we overdosed on that type of story a long time ago and barely even noticed.
