I'm pretty sure the Prince in question is Dracula, yeah, but I really don't want him to become a permanent ally of Buffy. While I'm all in favour of redemption arcs, if there's one character who should never be redeemed, it's Dracula. That would so easily make him completely pointless; a bit like a Moby Dick sequel in which Ahab and Moby Dick combine forces to fight evil together.
