My favorite bit is when she puts the drop of water beneath her eye and lets it run down her face because she CAN'T CRY. So heartbreaking.

Yes, it's mesmerizing, isn't it? The writer/director, Anton King, did an incredible job. As did Maurissa with her acting/sing and Jed also.

Favorite bit: the faux tear.

Random first thought upon watching this: TOPHER! I MISS U!

I love how they manage to condense so much of Dollhouse into less than 4 minutes - without using a single recognizable image or idea from the show, just taking off from the same underlying themes. I'm almost tempted to fic this, damnit, except I don't even know what to call canon...

Great, now I have to remember how much I miss Dollhouse. Thanks, video!

Seriously, while the cynic in me says the homeless guy/Mo 1 ending was too upbeat (Paul/Echo leaving the Dollhouse?), this is wonderful, wonderful. And so Dollhouse.

It really is.

the cynic in me says the homeless guy/Mo 1 ending was too upbeat

Funny, the cynic in me is picturing a homeless guy watching his new sexbot slowly run out of power with nowhere to plug it in... ;)

Well I have now. Unless I misread the timestamps, I think you scooped Whedonesque by a couple hours.

The lesson I take away, cynical or otherwise: No matter how little you value something, someone else loves it.

Nah, I'm pretty sure Whedonesque had it up before me. But I'm happy to pretend I got there first. :)
