That AO3 meme everyone's doing

This one surprised me a bit.

My top 5 fics on AO3 by kudos:

Radio Silence (BtVS/Welcome to Night Vale)
Not that surprising, perhaps, since it's a crossover with a current and quite active fandom. Quite pleased about this. (By the way, that last episode of WTNV... HOLY SHIT. Anyone still not listening to it, what are you waiting for?)

Bernard's Rules (Doctor Who/Black Books)
Again, active fandom. Rather proud of this, there really isn't enough Black Books fic and this is clearly a sign that people want more.

Ms Summers Goes To Washington (BtVS/West Wing)
Noticing a theme of crossovers here?

Get Some Walking In (West Wing)
Zombie fics clearly get the job done too.

If The Dead Rise (Or Not) (BtVS)
Buffy/Faith works on AO3. Speaking of which...

My top 5 fics on AO3 by hits:

I'll Always Opt To Fall Down These Stairs (BtVS)
This one really surprised me. I'm quite happy with this Buffy/Faith fic, but it's gotten a LOT more hits than most of my other stories. Is there something about AO3 that attracts fans of wingfic and/or Regina Spektor? And should I feel bad that the hit/kudo ratio is a lower than some other fics?

Dawn of The Dead (BtVS)
No surprise there. This is my personal favourite too. Sometimes I want to delete it just so I can write vamp!Dawn again.

Dawn Summers Solves Things With SCIENCE! (BtVS)
...And clearly, Dawn is popular over at AO3. Take that, EW!

Radio Silence (BtVS/Welcome to Night Vale)

Ms Summers Goes To Washington (BtVS/West Wing)
As above.

And I still have a bunch of fics I've never uploaded to AO3. Including most of my drabbles. Woe.

Take that, EW!

This deserves a Dawnie-sized fist bump. Because I love your Dawn.

There should be a new Dawn fic due fairly soon. *fistbump*

I might do this meme. I very rarely do them, but this one sort of fascinates me.

As for The Night Vale, I'd listen to it for sure if I had the least idea how. Do I have to buy it from iTunes or something?

It should be on iTunes, but for free. You can get it through a bunch of different channels, see the first question here (http://commonplacebooks.com/faqs/).

And it's brilliant. It's like Buffy crossed with Twin Peaks and filtered through 21st century ideas about gender, power structures and narratives... Very funny, quite creepy, and increasingly clever. It starts out as just this general horror comedy, and then after a few episodes it starts sneaking in various arcs.

I love Radio Silence and Get Some Walking In so much that I just ran off and bookmarked them. ;-)

Black Books?

Thanks! :)

Black Books is a British sitcom about the world's most misanthropic bookshop owner (and if you've ever spent time in second-hand bookshops, you'll know that's up against some pretty stiff competition). It's utterly brilliant. See here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EY5-0It0acU) and here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pM5573vJXtM), for instance.

Thanks but I can't check it out at the moment. I have Internet access again but, for some mysterious reason, no sound.
