The LJ thing
So, yeah, once more around the old block.
LJ has been officially (except without official word, obviously, because that would require LJ to actually talk to their users) moved to Russia, and our postings here are now subject to Russian law. Read this roundup byrahirah about what's going on and how you can back up your LJ:

PS - does anyone know what happens if you import comments from LJ on existing DW posts? I assume they don't overwrite the DW comments?
