This week's prompt at open_on_sunday is "Miss(ing)", and so I bring you missing scenes of both Spuffy and Fuffy, neither particularly happy. Blame Dr Horrible for killing my fluff bunnies.

Beep. I'm not in right now. Sorry I missed you. Say something after the beep. Ciao.

"I hate these bloody things. Oi, Buffy, pick up if you're there!"

Raindrops hitting leather close to the cell phone. Repeated listens reveal city sounds in the background; cars, people, apocalypse.

"Sod it. Yeah, I'm alive, shoulda told you earlier, but... Not sure it matters anymore, we've pissed off the wrong people and I s'pose the proverbial fat lady's getting ready for her solo."

Sigh.

"Speaking of which, here comes Angel. Look, you know how I -"

Beep. Tape full. Message received, May 20, 7.52AM.

They're fighting. She can't hear them from up here, but it looks serious. Break-up serious.

Figures.

Not that Faith's surprised, that girl never wants what she's got. You do the good-girl thing, try to impress, and B still only sees Angel; burn your bridges and whoopsie-daisy, she's dumping him.

Part of her hates that she wants to go down there, make things right... Fuck it. Too late now.

Faith lets the arrow fly and Angel crumples to the ground. Buffy looks around in panic, but doesn't see her.

The Boss's idiot minion says she missed the heart.

Yeah. Long time ago.

Just as a note, the term Fluff Bunny is commonly used to refer to wannablessedbe's who annoy the heck out of serious Neo-Pagans by claiming to be part of traditions that they aren't old enough to even be admitted to, much less been through the initiations for.

Time limit was brilliant, and I totally could have imagined it actually being in the show.

Good and solid construct for these two and very efficient too. Poor Faith, poor Spike. I was particularly sensitive to the sonor back ground in the first, it added a strong sense of reality to the scene
