still_grrr, which I've neglected for far too long, and the prompt "Elementary school."

Summary Season 7. Following “First Date”, Buffy has to ask Willow to do something she really doesn’t want to do.

“Woah. You want me to do what?”
"Believe me, I wouldn't ask you if it wasn't important." Buffy sat down next to Willow and put her arm around her. “But everyone’s close to panicking already, and if we don’t take care of this we could be looking at a full-scale stampede.”
"I-I know, Buff.” Willow stared at the floor. “It's just... You're kinda asking a lot here. Bad memories."
"I'm really sorry. But you're the only one I can trust to do this."
"What if I get carried away? What if I can't stop?"
"Then we'll bring you back. It’s what we do for each other, right?"
Willow smiled weakly. "Okay. I’ll do it."
* * *
Later that day, shortly after getting back from collecting yet another potential Slayer at the bus station, Giles knocked on Buffy’s door with a puzzled expression on his face. "Um, Buffy? I was about to draw some new flash cards for the potentials, and... it seems someone has broken all my crayons.”
Buffy looked utterly shocked. "You mean we’ll have to do without the Cannibal Fragfest visual aids? Darn. Too bad we'll never know who's responsible."
