7 years to the day after the murder sorry, I mean completely accidental death of Kirsty MacColl, the BBC today announced that they would start censoring "A Fairytale of New York", in yet another attempt to convince people that it's just a happy feel-good Christmas song. They backed down after a public outcry, so good on ya Brits.
