This song changed my life the first time I heard it in my early teens. I had no idea music could do that. That point where Maureen Tucker misses a beat on the drums, the bottom falls out and the song just rips apart into a thousand chaotic whirling pieces, Lou Reed can't help but laughing into the mic with sheer joy, and then it finally lands in a mess of feedback and shrieking viola and just... stops.
