There were definitely things I loved about Westworld s2 - the samurai episode, the Ghost Tribe episode, some of the character beats. But overall I thought (and that's the same problem I had with s1, only it's even more obvious now that we expect the twist) that everything was shoehorned in to fit the plot and plot twists rather than the other way around. It never really relaxed into the story, it's too interested in its own philosophical argument. I really hope they can turn that around for s3, and they certainly opened up for new possibilities.
