I hope so. And I'm made to understand that they've suggested a lot more of mythical backstory for them in the books too, which it was really too late to introduce to the series here. But as someone who's unlikely to ever read the books (even if they're ever released), I still feel a bit miffed that in the end, they were just a random if very weird army that had no other purpose but to kill and lose.
But I'm really intrigued about what they're going to do with the remaining 3+ hours of the show. It can't just be about beating Cersei now.
