Well, I mean, you start in daylight and it goes on the whole night, so you get some twilight depending on how far north you are. (Unless of course it's overcast, which it tends to be.) Which is another thing that bugs me about this movie; they have the Americans spooked by it still being daylight out at 9PM, which of course it would be, but they never use that magical almost-twilight that you get around 1AM... which of course they couldn't since it was shot in Hungary. At least they don't make the mistake that The Ritual did and have it get pitch dark in the middle of summer.
