The WM remake was definitely hilarious. All the more so because I'd just watched the remastered version of the original with the cast commentary, and so I heard this quote by Sir Christopher Lee one day and then had it juxtaposed with Nic Cage's.
Sir Christopher: This attitude that "people wouldn't understand" is far too prevalent in cinema today. People should be able to use what's left of their minds when they watch something. Nic Cage (offscreen): AAAAAAH! MY LEGS! MY LEEEEEGS! KILLING ME WON'T BRING BACK YOUR GODDAMN HONEEEEEY!
