I'm not sure that it's Kumiko showing Willow that vision... more that making mental contact with her allowed Saga Vasuki herself to locate Willow, slither through the mental bond and curl up in Willow's brain in person.
To be fair to Scott Allie (which I strive to do because it makes me a better person) the exciting thing might be less "Look! Naked women kissing! " and more "Look! Buffy wasn't just having a cold, joyless one-night stand with an intimidated subordinate!"
