Fic: Shelf Life, 3/4
Feb. 5th, 2010 01:23 amFirst of all, look at these shiny things, from
unlocked_awards!

Thanks a whole lot, and congrats to a bunch of other great writers on my flist who also won stuff - make sure to click through the links to the winners here.
In other awards news, I got a few more nominations at the
wicked_awards. Dracula Vs Buffy is up for Not Fade Away (best essay and meta) and Stylish, Yet Affordable is up for Heart Of Gold (best drabble). Thanks for those too!
Also, here's the sort of kind of last chapter of my fic of literary self-indulgence, Shelf Life. Kind of sort of in that the challenge only covered literature written before 1960 and there's an epilogue coming that's a crossover with the Thursday Next books, which of course are a lot newer. Anyway, this one's got Spike. And Lilah.
Title: Shelf Life – part 3
Author: Beer Good (
beer_good_foamy)
Prompt: 154: The Trial (and a few other modernists)
Fandom: Buffy s5-ish, w/crossovers
Characters: Ensemble
Word Count: ~1675
Summary: You take one Magic Box, one brand-new shelf of fiction, one spell gone slightly wonky, and suddenly our heroes find themselves fully booked. Geddit? Booked? Well, you will.
Book The Third: In Which There Is No Justice
( Like a dog. )
