OK, this one took me by surprise. It's forstaringiscaring's Historical Slayers comment ficathon, and the prompt "Original Slayer, Ancient Egypt, cruising up and down the nile." Once I got this one image in my mind, I had to write this. It's slightly influenced by stormwreath's History of the Watcher's Council.
