beer_good_foamyOK, it's been a very long time since I considered myself a Roxette fan, but this one still hit close to home.
Marie Fredriksson of Roxette dead at 61
It's not exactly surprising, her struggle with cancer has been public news for a long time. But still. I've been listening to her since I was a very wee pop kid back in the mid-80s, through Roxette and various solo projects, and her voice was one of those that could elevate the dumbest lyrics to something profound (which made her perfect for Roxette).
Fuck cancer.
