Here's a silly drabble which is not in any way based on current events. I was going to work this into this week's open_on_sunday challenge, but it seems there isn't one this week...

"Oh, hello Tony. Of course I remember you from school. You've had quite the career."

"Ah. Yes, I see."

"Well, that seems quite..."

"Sorry, what? No."

(...)

"No, I can assure you they don't exist."

(...)

"Yes, we've looked into..."

(...)

"Even if they did, I doubt a pot of gold is worth that much."

(...)

"You know, I must say it sounds like your efforts would best be spent on, um, more pressing matters."

(...)

"Yes... no... quite. Well, the best of luck to you. Goodbye."

Giles hung up and frowned. How odd. Why would British Petroleum care about leprechauns?
