beer_good_foamyDidn't have time to write up a big music post this week, so I hit up This Day In Music and learned that today, it's exactly 38 years since the recording of one of the most charmingly amateurish debut videos ever made:
That's right, kids, once upon a time you could launch a band to (eventual) superstardom with just a flatbed truck, a handheld camera, a couple of bored bagpipers, and presumably lots of booze. I guess stuff like this happens every day in Melbourne.
I assume that people who don't love AC/DC have a reason for this. I'm sure they're very good reasons. Luckily, all the reason I need to dismiss those reasons are in the first few seconds of this song. And in pretty much every other song they recorded between 1975 and 1982 or so. Let there be light! ...Sound! Drums! GUITAR!
