Earlier this week, someone asked me about non-traditional non-sappy Christmas movies. I said, "The Thing is sort of a Christmas movie, isn't it?"

Well, it is now. And so is Alien, as it happens. And didn't the Doctor say "Yippi-ki-yay" at one point?

Also, Nick Frost was born to play Santa. Obviously.
