Missing scene from "Homecoming"

"Hello?"

(...)

"Hey Xander. What's up?"

(...)

"Cool. I'm just gonna pick B up, then we'll swing by..."

(...)

"Oh."

(...)

"Sure, I mean..."

(...)

"No, I get it. B and Cordy need to work things out, I'm five by five on that. See you there."

Faith hung up and looked at the phone for a few seconds before turning back to the cracked motel mirror. Dress, hair, makeup... hot shit. With a sigh, she kicked off her high heels and slipped on her old tennis shoes; The Bronze was across town, and she'd gotten the pumps thinking she'd actually get to ride a limo.

It's definitely one of those eps that must have looked very different from Faith's POV - she really tries to be just one of the gang (even to the point of actually asking Buffy to the dance, haha) and she's still on the sidelines... Thanks!

The actress is the lovely Eve Myles (my latest obsession) and she can be found on Torchwood as Cardiff PC Gwen Cooper, Torchwood Three's latest recruit.

And, aside from the awesome freckles, she has a killer pout, too. :)

Lovely, heartbreaking drabble. So very Faith. I like how you only put in her part of the conversation. Eliminates the superfluous Xander-talk and cuts straight to the tragic point.
