Something From The Heart

Wolfram & Hart's entertainment division was busy before Christmas, piping music to every store and producing every Christmas special on TV. So when Spike asked for help with a gift, Lorne said:

"Nope. Uh-uh. No time. Besides, Angel's my boss. I can't help you do... that to him."

"Even if I promise not to tell him you cancelled A Very Barry Christmas?"

Lorne cringed. "You wouldn't..."

"It might slip out by accident," Spike grinned wickedly. "Unless you tell me how to give the old poof what he deserves."

"OK." Lorne sighed and handed him the box. "First, cut a hole here..."

I mean, she READ it to me and all, but I still think I saw it coming.

I don't mean COMING, that is, but you know, it came earlier for me than it did for her.
