Another drabble! bakatulip didn't actually request this, but I'm going to dedicate it to her anyway. :-) My very first piece of Battlestar Galactica fic.

Huntress

"Frak." Helo winced, stretched his leg and dusted himself off before glaring up at his wife. "You know, you could stop laughing and throw me a rope."

"Sorry." With almost supercylon effort, Sharon dialed down her mirth and wiped her eyes. "Are you OK?"

"I'm fine." He made a half-hearted attempt to jump up and reach the edge of the pit he'd fallen into, then shook his head with a reluctant smile. "How the hell did a ten-year-old girl..."

"Hey, you're the one who taught Hera how to dig a lion pit. I just showed her how to camouflage it."

Might that have something to do with how the Agathons seem to be the last decent people on the show? [/bitterness]

I know RDM is cynical but the latter seasons are just plan Rape the dog at this point....
