Wesley letting her fight her own battle scares her - like he’s humoring her. But she belongs in the lab; she’s a published scientist, she will find a solution. He helps her stand. She thinks she’s onto something, then she can't see, glass tubes shatter in her hand but don’t even cut her skin. She tries again but suddenly she’s on the floor, going down fighting but going down, dying in an evil place and Wesley loves her but she can’t feel his arms anymore and there’s a portal another friggin’ portal but
