Also, here's the five favourite fics meme that's been making the rounds. Picking just five of my own fics is like picking just five Dylan albums - way too hard, and I'm not objective - but here goes:

Dawn Of The Dead (Dawncentric ensemble, PG13). Because it was hilarious to write and still cracks me up. I love writing parody

Atonement's A Bitch (Faith, PG13). Because it was both fun and scary to get inside Faith's head throughout s7, and I think it ties a lot of things together. I love angsty introspections.

Welcome To The Slaughterhouse (Ensemble, NC17). Because it's so utterly sick and fucked up that I felt dirty writing it, and just had to keep digging deeper. I love slasher movies.

Wow (Willow/Tara, Buffy/Faith, R). Because it just came so easy (pun not intended) and Willow has never been more fun to write. I love femslash.

And the fifth... hard to pick just one, I love'em all, but I guess I'll say The Hardest Walk (ensemble, R-ish) because it was the first one I ever wrote and even if I'd probably write it differently today, it did sort of open the flood gates. And I love flood gates.

Wrote this for the apocalypse challenge at good__evil. It didn't win, and probably shouldn't have since there were some truly amazing entries, but I think it's a fun little piece. I love messing with Shakespeare.

...when you're an escaped murderer trying to fight alongside those you've hurt. But you'd hardly know it from Buffy s7, so this is a series of 'missing scene' fics about Faith’s and the others' attempts to deal with her past and present.

I love Faith. The five episodes she got on Angel are all among my favourite eps of that series, largely because of the interplay between Faith, Wes and Angel and the character development on all three of them when they get together. However, once she crossed back over to Buffy, a lot of that took a back seat. I wanted to explore what might happen behind the scenes, so this basically follows canon but hopefully with more character insight.

This won first place in good__evil's december challenge 2006.

Tara's thoughts after she and Willow get back to the dorm following the events in "The Body". Just a little character piece, basically. Oneshot.

Part of the reason "The Body" really gets to me is Xander's and Willow's scenes. Joyce meant a lot more to them than just "Buffy's mom", yet they have to put Buffy and Dawn first. At the end of the day after everything is taken care of, I imagine it would be time for Tara (and Anya) to take over.
