So I always try to post a holiday fic around this time of year, but I was just starting to come to terms with not being able to come up with one this year, especially since I still have to get my whichwillow fic done in the next couple of days. Then it occurred to me - there are two classic holiday stories I've never used in fic: The Night Before Christmas and A Christmas Carol. So I figured why not mash'em both up and also make it Faith/Willow because why not.

So, happy whatever everyone!

Title: We Three Ghosts Of Accident Are
Author: Beer Good ([personal profile] beer_good_foamy)
Fandom: Buffy, post-series/A Christmas Carol/The Night Before Christmas
Pairing: Faith/Willow
Rating: PG13
Word count: 321
Summary: 'Twas the night before Christmas, and Faith got a visit from some ghosts. That's OK, Slayers know how to handle the undead.

'Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the camp
Not a demon was stirring, not even a vamp
But lo! In the bedroom, an energy swirled
A figure appeared, and a loud voice unfurled:

"Behold, I am the ghost of Christmas pa-"

So [livejournal.com profile] femslash_minis had a "Texts from last night" challenge, which was fun. I actually have an idea for a very different fill for this prompt as well that struck me just hours ago. Might get that one written down over the next few days and post it. But for now, here's a s3-ish Faith-is-not-yet-off-the-rails kinda thing.

Title: First One To Turn The Wheel Is A Chicken
Author: Beer Good ([personal profile] beer_good_foamy)
Fandom: Buffy, mid-s3-ish
Rating: PG13
Word count: ~840
Characters/Pairing: Faith/Willow
Summary: Written for [livejournal.com profile] femslash_minis and [livejournal.com profile] aaronlisa's prompt (774):i just walked into a room at this party and someone yelled "dibs!"

Show us you care, show us you dare
You don't know what happened, not if you weren't there

- Motörhead, "Born To Raise Hell"

In fairness, she did make the fuzzy orange sweater look good. The overalls possibly slightly less so, but let's face it, overalls. )

Title: That There Is Not Me
Author: Beer Good ([personal profile] beer_good_foamy)
Fandom: Buffy, s7, circa “Touched”
Word Count: ~1200
Rating: PG13
Pairing: Willow/Faith
Author’s Note: Written for [livejournal.com profile] femslash_minis and [livejournal.com profile] aaronlisa’s prompt “Faith/Willow, Redemption equals sex” with the contents: Set in Sunnydale, leather, and ice cream.
Summary: Two reforming murderers go shopping for supplies to selflessly save the world. Keeping the masquerade up works fine until Willow stumbles across an outfit from her past.

I thought I was someone else
Someone good
- Lou Reed

I wonder if it still fits. )

Some unabashed Willow/Faith fluff for [livejournal.com profile] good__evil's "Ghost" challenge (don't think I'll manage the whole drabble month this year like I did last time, but we'll see) and also for [livejournal.com profile] frogfarm's birthday.

Uninvited
Post-series

"Who are you?"

The two ghosts look at each other, puzzled and a little spooked.

"Um... I'm here to haunt her." Allan Finch gestures at the bed.

Warren sneers. "The hell you are, that witch is -"

"No, not her. The other one."

"Oh." There's an awkward pause. “What’s your angle?”

Allan dares a collegial smile. “Nightmares, guilt, ‘you’re a murderer, nobody will ever understand you or trust you again’...”

Warren nods. “Yeah. That usually works.”

The ghosts watch the two women sleeping soundly in each other's arms, distinctly unhaunted by their presence.

"So, uh... Seen any good movies lately?"

Happy birthday [livejournal.com profile] frogfarm! Here's me being efficient and combining birthday fic (hey, my first Faith/Willow pairing, be gentle) and no less than two community challenges into one piece of... slightly cracktastic fic. Huh-huh-huh. I said "crack."

Title: For Those About To Rock
Author: Beer Good ([livejournal.com profile] beer_good_foamy)
Rating: PG13-ish (some bad language)
Word Count: ~1300
Characters/Pairing: Faith/Willow (established)
Timeline: Unspecified
Disclaimer: Joss Whedon owns characters. Mike Judge owns a concept. Angus Young and Bon Scott own all our asses, even if one of them is dead.
A/N: Written for [livejournal.com profile] facets_of_faith's "Rock on Faith" challenge and [livejournal.com profile] still_grrr's sidekick month. I'm not really sure if it's fluffy, drunkfic or crack or a little bit of all three. There's also tiny hints of a crossover (in spirit, if not in body) with a certain early-90s MTV cartoon comedy.

We Salute You )

beer_good_foamy: (Willow and Tara (Joss is evil))
Happy birthday [livejournal.com profile] somercet!

Which seems like a good excuse to post this. Though I probably would have anyway.

Title: Wow
Author: Beer Good ([livejournal.com profile] beer_good_foamy)
Rating: R
Pairing: Willow, Tara, Buffy, Faith in various permutations
Timeline: "Who Are You?"
Word count: About 3500 words. Holy crap.
Disclaimer: Joss is a respected writer who would never lower himself to writing this. I am not him, evidently. I own nothing, I earn nothing.
Summary: All Willow and Tara had to do was keep their hands off each other long enough to perform a spell to put Faith and Buffy back in each others' bodies. Now, really, how many ways can that go wrong? Well, quite a few, as it turns out...

This is a totally gratuitous piece of femmeslash, written only for the amusement of me and others with a similar sense of humour. It started out as a drabble, continued as an ill-fated attempt at smut, and I think it ended up as baudy French farce. But it should be fun.

Nominated at the Crossing Over Awards!

Three drabbles about feet and legs for Open on Sunday, ranging from the sad to the silly. As always, any discernible character is the property of Joss, for I have no character.

The King Has Left the Building (Angel s5, PG13) )
