OK, so here's the first fic I've written in ages, for [livejournal.com profile] whichwillow. I won't say it was easy, but I hope it works the way it's supposed to. It's kind of a sequel to Total Perspective Vortex, which I wrote a few years ago, so it's kind of a Willow introspection. What do you do after you've changed the world once?

Title: The Bottom of the Garden
Author: Beer Good ([personal profile] beer_good_foamy)
Fandom: Buffy, post-series
Pairing: Background Willow/Kennedy, but mostly gen
Rating: PG13
Word count: ~3000
Summary: Written for the Which Witch ficathon and the prompt: What if Willow went back to the Coven after the fall of Sunnydale? After Miss Harkness dies, leaving the coven without leadership, they ask Willow to stay for just a few days and help sort things out. And hey, once you've saved the world a few times, you deserve a holiday, don't you?

So, England. Again, technically, though she hadn't had much of a choice in the matter last time and hadn't been all that there either. )

Yay, “Atonement's a Bitch” has been nominated at the Gotta Have Faith awards!

Which seems as good a reason as any to break my writer's block, stop fiddling with this fic and just post it. This is for [personal profile] deird1's comics covers ficathon (specifically, #6) and also, fittingly, for the [community profile] buffy_ficcing prompt “late”, even though it ran way past 1000 words.

Title: Meme
Author: Beer Good ([personal profile] beer_good_foamy)
Fandom: Buffyverse,
Word Count: ~1750
Rating: PG13
Warning: Character death. Sort of.
Pairings: Canon.
Summary: Buffy is setting up the new Slayer organisation when a bureaucratic mix-up kills Faith. This may or may not be a good thing. You can't kill a ghost, after all.

”Beneath this mask there is an idea, Mr. Creedy, and ideas are bulletproof.”

I'm nominated for some more awards - huge thanks to the almight nominators!

Pull Out The Pin is nominated for Best Fluff and Best Crossover at the SunnyD Awards.

Dawn Of The Dead is nominated for Best Comedy and Best Oneshot (a 48-chapter oneshot!) at [livejournal.com profile] c2c_buffyawards.

Also, a little drabble for [livejournal.com profile] open_on_sunday's prompt "Copy". Oh, the intricacies of dating people with supernatural abilities.

Super Calisthenics
Post-series

Thump. "Ow."

Kennedy winced as she kneeled by the undignified Willow-heap in front of the bedroom mirror and helped her on her feet. "You OK?"

"Hey, it takes more than a bump on the brainpan to -" Willow almost keeled over, but Kennedy held her up. "Woah. Head rush. No fair, those one-handed hand stands look so easy when you do 'em."

"On the other hand, I don't levitate every morning like some people."

"Promise you'll wear a helmet if you try? 'Cause... OW."

"And a parachute." Kennedy kissed the top of her head. "Let me get you an icepack."

So, let's combine a few things. This post has:

- A few Dr Horrible icons.
- A bunch of Kennedy and Willow/Kennedy (because I've a feeling that those of us in the K-Club who still read the comics are going to need them)
- And a couple of S8!Dawn (spoilers up until #16).

Teasers:

Listing and table under the cut )

As always: free to a good home with comment and credit.

For [livejournal.com profile] open_on_sunday and the prompt "Palm."

When They Used To Have A Show (Post-series)

She's in Brazil again, where it fell apart. 150 years of blood and madness are almost over: Spike, Angelus, Darla, Sunnydale, LA... all gone. Through the palm trees, the stars sing of a new age. Drusilla knows what's coming before she hears the footsteps approaching.

"Hey. Vampirella."

***

Willow looks up when Kennedy returns to the hotel room. "Hey, baby. Patrol good?"

"Nah. Just found one, and she hardly put up a fight. Seems we're running out of vamps."

"Y'know," Willow grins, "some might say that's a good thing..."

***

At sunrise, the warm wind ruffles the palm branches, scattering the ashes.

Behold, I bring a separate post of drabbles!

For [livejournal.com profile] open_on_sunday's "Con" prompt:

Faith and Kennedy )
And two simply because they were silly plot bunnies that wouldn't let go:

Willow and Tara )

Behind the scenes in Sunnydale )

Another "you get one life-changing wish" story. Quite frankly, I think Willow is probably the last person in the Buffyverse who should be allowed to make life-changing wishes, considering the whole I-can-destroy-the-world-with-one-blink thing. So I tried to make it about Willow finally accepting some things instead. In retrospect, her speech about Tara may seem a little too final, but people seem to like it. I'll confess I do too.

Title: Shooting Star
Author: Beer Good ([livejournal.com profile] beer_good_foamy)
Rating: PG13
Word Count: 1460
Fandom: Buffyverse,
Characters: Willow/Kennedy, Willow/Tara.
Disclaimer: Joss and ME are the stars, I just fall.
Summary: 'Tis the night before a plane leaves for Brazil, and Willow sort of gets to make a wish.
