Something From The Heart

Wolfram & Hart's entertainment division was busy before Christmas, piping music to every store and producing every Christmas special on TV. So when Spike asked for help with a gift, Lorne said:

"Nope. Uh-uh. No time. Besides, Angel's my boss. I can't help you do... that to him."

"Even if I promise not to tell him you cancelled A Very Barry Christmas?"

Lorne cringed. "You wouldn't..."

"It might slip out by accident," Spike grinned wickedly. "Unless you tell me how to give the old poof what he deserves."

"OK." Lorne sighed and handed him the box. "First, cut a hole here..."

Warren opened the door, eyes wide in surprise. "S-Spike... Buffybot... I-is there a problem with the bot? I did every test you wanted..."

"None at all." Spike grinned. "I'm one happy customer. We're here to place another order."

"Look, I'm not making any more girls..."

"Not a problem. Well, depends on your definition... here's your new specs. Make sure you get the forehead right."

"And the hair," Buffybot beamed. "It grows straight up and it's bloody sexy."

Spike leaned closer, menacingly. "And no cheating on the tests. Angelbot had better be able to do everything on this list."

Also, here's a couple of icons I made for still_grrr, based on the idea that Keith Szarabajka looks a lot like Jeff Bridges, and so I keep expecting Holtz to quote The Big Lebowski.

Yes – it’s the adventures of Vampire Dawn! Dawn gets vamped in "All The Way", and wackiness ensues as the Scoobies try to work their way through s6 AND take care of a spoiled teenage monster with a taste for blood.

Pairings: Spawn, Spuffy, Spangel, basically Spanythingthatmoves. There's some hinted-at Dawn/Drusilla naughtiness too. Also: my first Clem/Buffy pairing!
Chapters: 48 (short ones)
Rating: PG13 (mostly language and violence, but all in good fun)
Warnings: ***Character death, underage sex, character metamorphosis, misspellings of "magic", references to incest, references to the Backstreet Boys, sad puppies***

This fic won "Best Lighthearted" and placed second in "Best Vamped Scooby" in round 6 of the Fang Fetish Awards, and was both the judges' and the readers' choice in "Best Lighthearted" in the "Best of the Best" round.
