So, I always try to post a holiday-themed fic around this time, but I was seriously lacking in inspiration this year. Then I saw this things like this, and this, and what the hell, I opened the holiday booze a bit in advance and figured eh, let's see where this setup takes me. This is in no way a subtle fic, but I hope it works anyway. Happy whatever, everyone!

OK, here's a rather silly plotbunny I got a while back and have been working on off and on for far too long. This is set in roughly the same post-series scenario as "Early To Rise" – ie a couple of years after "Chosen", Cleveland, Spike/Buffy, and a slight sense that this could have been a crossover with the Middleman-verse except it's not.

I didn't think I was going to fic the After the Fall comics, but #3 just gave me this angsty-silly plotbunny that jumped out at me and shrieked "WRITE ME! WRIIIIIITE MEEEE!" in this sort of high-pitched, vicious voice that didn't take "no" for an answer. So this is based on two of the frames in #3, which means SPOILER ALERT. (If you haven't read them, what you need to know is basically that (highlight) LA was sent to hell following "Not Fade Away", and Angel was made human. That, and the dialogue in the two panels included at the end of this fic.)
